Well, we just wrapped up the first part of our CD-Release tour...we hit many spots in New England, then to Switzerland, then back to the US to go down and back up the East Coast. Aside from some sold-out shows, this also included a video shoot performance at Don O'Dell's Legends in MA. This evening finds me at home, but only for 3 days, then we pick up the touring in Wisconsin for some midwest dates, and a quick trip overseas before we head to Memphis for the Blues Music Awards. The rave reviews are still coming in for our Alligator debut CD "The High Cost Of Low Living", including recent enthusiastic reviews in Blues Music Magazine and Living Blues Magazine...thankful for all the support and love we have been getting!
It's been a blast so far! I have known Nick for over 20 years, but only recently started playing together and it's been great. The band is a tight unit, really play their butts off, and we're all there for each other on & off the bandstand. Excited about more tour dates in the US and abroad with these guys, and to working on more material! Another fun thing is we sometimes add new songs for special occasion, for example we just threw in some classic Muddy Waters' songs ("Close To You", "She Moves Me" and "My Loves Strikes Like Lightning") to celebrate his recent birthday on the last few shows of this tour. We have many more tour dates ahead of us....after hitting Memphis we have a short time off and start a tour in the Midwest taking us all the way to the West Coast in June. We'll be bringing our blues , boogie and rock n' roll to some spots in MO, AZ, CA, CO and many more locations, look for us!!
