WHAT: Harmonica Workshop w/Dennis Gruenling & Rick Estrin
PART 1: "PLAYING IN A BAND" - the first half will cover everything you NEED to know about ensemble playing! What to know, practice and think about including cues, repertoire, playing to the song, different styles of accompaniment, grooves, and more.
PART 2: "UNDERSTANDING GEAR" - the second half will be your chance to learn all about gear, and how to get the MOST out of it! I will have some vintage microphones & amplifiers with me as Rick Estrin and I demonstrate different techniques, microphones, speakers, amps, tubes and leave room for ALL of your questions. We may have time to assess your mic and/or small amp after the class!
HOW MUCH: $50.00
WHAT TO BRING: If you have them, please at least bring a C and A Diatonic, as well as a notepad. ALSO feel free to bring your microphones to go over technique in the class, and email Dennis about bringing any small amps, there may be time to test out your gear at the end! No video recording, but personal audio recording is allowed.

What an unfortunate time slot for this workshop. Would it be likely you and Rick are performing locally that evening? Perhaps this worker bee could make that! Here’s hoping
Sorry - this is Presidents Day and was the best option given the possible venues and time availability. Evenigs are not best for everyone either unfortunately. No performaces this time though, I tried to make something like that happen.
