This Saturday, Feb 5, is my next LIVE Saturday Q&A Webinar with special guest Omar Coleman! Omar picked up the harp out of curiosity, thinking it would be easy to learn, and before you know it he got pulled into the rich history of Chicago Blues. As he studied further into the Windy City’s musical legacy, he quickly became part of the scene himself, blending some soul sounds with the traditional Chicago Blues roots he fell in love with. I first heard Omar as part of a compilation when I had my radio show back on WFDU many years ago, and have been a fan ever since.
