My first release under my own name. Big jump blues influence here, with a few jazzier numbers, and lots of 1950s Rhythm & Blues flavor. Yes, I had some low harps (including a Low Bb) and was playing overblows even back then, before people made a big deal out of it. I believe the playing should serve the music, not the other way around! Finally back in print, with plenty of jumpin' & swingin' going on here! (recorded in 1998, released in 1999)
